What is this website about?
This website documents a unique para-scientific experiment involving interception and analysis of so-called beta-nano-wave (BNW ) or psychic transmissions from a near future entity that calls itself Erropa Mindcasting Enterprise (EME).

What is Erropa?
"Erropa" is how people in future will pronounce "Europe". On the maps contained within some of the transmissions we can observe that Erropa is a state/territorial organization comprised of modern day Europe, Middle East and North Africa. However, no borders or names of bordering countries are indicated on any of the maps.

What is Error?
Error is an ongoing project of contemporary noise musician and sound designer Aldis Ozols, of Latvian origin, who in his research and soundwork utilizes information extracted from EME transmissions via Errotron device. By using Error as an artistic platform, Aldis Ozols informs individuals and groups of currently devolving human societies about the world order now and in the near future. Within Error, he has carefully chosen most extreme musical styles of the end of 20th and beginning of 21st century for expression of his vision of humanity, and he has achieved a profound sound product which is provocative and illuminating, subversive and educating at the same time.

How transmissions are intercepted?
BNW transmissions are intercepted using a mysterious device which we occasionally call "Errotron" or "Erroscope". A friend of ours once bought it on a flee-market, at first thinking it was just a bizarre prop of some sort. By examining it closer we soon realized it was apparently constructed by former KGB as a means of interrogation and utilized technology which normally would have been considered top secret. Perhaps due to its paranormal application and the fact that it does not exactly serve its designated purpose (we found it to be useless for any conceivable form of interrogation) it had ended up in garbage heap when the KGB headquarters were dismantled.

How does this device work?
What we call Errotron, primarily consists of a large glass cylinder containing preserved human brain, which apparently acts as an antenna or receiver. The brain is connected to some sort of decoder which neatly fits into a round steel container at the base of the jar. There are numerous output cables protruding from it, but the whole apparatus is welded shut, thus we can not have an idea of what's inside and how it works. There is also an on/off switch and an ancient-looking power cord with a weaved cotton sheathing.
When we discovered the device, all of the output cables were severed, some being completely torn off, suggesting once there have been other devices connected to it. Actually, it is unclear if the Errotron originally was a stand-alone device or, in fact, just a part in a larger installation.
However, after countless trials and errors we discovered that when active, among a dozen of unidentified signals, Errotron emits analog audio and black and white video, which we tape and analyze.
When plugged in and switched on in a completely dark room, Errotron can stay idle for days. Then at apparently random intervals the base of the device starts to emit a low humming noise which gradually increases. That's when the transmission starts coming in. If the transmission is long enough, the brain rises from the bottom of the jar to the middle and starts to glow a little. Needless to say, it looks very, very spooky.
The most astonishing physical effect displayed by Errotron we have encountered this far is that it cools down considerably during the operation, cooling the temperature of the room it is based in down to as low as -23°C, so that during prolonged sessions frost appears on the other side of the wall.

What are these transmissions about?
As we already said, the transmissions Errotron intercepts come from an entity called Erropa Mindcasting Enterprise. From what we have learned, we assume that it exists somewhere in our near future, though it is almost impossible to tell when exactly. Our current estimate is +25 - +75 years.
EME appears to be some sort of governmental institution which is in charge of metaprogramming the population of Erropa. Thus the content of the intercepted transmissions can be best described as pre-fabricated thoughts or telepathic propaganda.

What is the future like?
Erropa is not much of a state or a political entity in the traditional sense. It is best described as a monetaristic hive-collective, where all individual rights and the very sense of individuality have been abolished for the sake of "supreme value". Most of the population has been reduced to status of selfless drones, who become expendable at the slightest indication of malfunction or misbehaviour. The institution in charge of EME and, as far as we understand, in charge of human resources in general, is called Ministry of Human Disposal.
Since the content of EME transmissions is limited to maintaining the discipline and high levels of ability to "contribute" among the drone-population, our knowledge of other aspects of this society is limited accordingly. Below are some of the principal meanings we have come across so far.
